The F3 Denver Field Guide · Part 01

What is F3?

F3 is a national network of free, peer-led workouts for men. It was born in Charlotte in 2011 and now posts across the Denver metro every morning. The name stands for Fitness, Fellowship, and Faith. The mission is bigger than any workout.

The mission & the credo

Everything in F3 hangs on one sentence: to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men, for the invigoration of male community leadership. The workout is the doorway; leadership is the destination.

  • The Credo Leave no man behind, but leave no man where you find him.
  • In Denver Three regions across the metro: the north suburbs, central Denver, and Douglas County. 26 AOs and free workouts nearly every morning.

The Three Fs, in balance

Focus only on the first F and you're a gym. F3's bigger vision lives in the second and third, in healthy balance within each man.

  • Fitness, the Magnet Free, hard, peer-led outdoor workouts draw men in. Keep it hard and they show up; keep it fun and they look forward to it.
  • Fellowship, the Glue Coffee after the workout, lunches, family events. Relationships are why men stay.
  • Faith, the Dynamite Belief in something bigger than yourself, focused on The Other. Not about religion. It's about living with purpose.

Five principles, every workout

Every F3 workout on earth runs on the same five commitments, and every AO in Denver holds the line on all of them.

  • Free of charge Never pay for a workout... ever.
  • Open to all men No matter the man, you are welcome here.
  • Held outdoors Rain or shine, hot or cold, we are out there.
  • Peer led Leading each other in a rotating fashion.
  • Ends with a COT Always closes in a Circle of Trust.
"We are not CrossFit. There's nothing to buy and everything to become."
