The F3 Denver Field Guide · Part 04
Start an AO
No F3 workout near you? Or a 20-minute drive you wish was 5? That's how every AO in Denver started: one man who decided his neighborhood needed it. We'll help you plant it.
01
Plant from strength
Post consistently at an existing AO first. Take your VQ. Learn the rhythms: the beatdown, the Circle of Trust, the Coffeeteria. Then rally two men: an AO is a Q and two brothers who committed to a park, a day, and a time. The region sends experienced PAX to post with you until the flag stands on its own.
- You bring A park, a time, and the will to hold the standard.
- The region brings Launch support, the F3 map listing, a page on this site, and promotion across all three regions.
02
Culture beats complexity
AOs don't fail for lack of creative workouts. They fail from cliques, poor welcomes, burnout, stale routines, and negative culture. Guard the culture and the rest follows:
- Welcome new men intentionally First impressions decide day two.
- Develop leaders Rotate the Q, encourage VQs, share the load. Leaders are developed, not discovered.
- Stay consistent Same place, same time, rain or shine.
- Own the invitation Every PAX EHs. If we don't invite, men won't come.
