The Circle of Trust
Every F3 workout on earth ends the same way: shoulder to shoulder in the COT. It's ten minutes that turn a workout into a brotherhood, and it is never compromised or rushed.
What happens in the circle
After the last rep, the PAX circle up. The order is the same at every AO in Denver:
- Count-O-Rama Every man counts off and the count is recorded, because every post matters.
- Name-O-Rama Every man states his F3 name. FNGs get named right here.
- The word A short leadership share, usually from Q-Source or Freed to Lead. Men grow in confidence articulating what they're learning.
- Announcements CSAUPs, 2nd-F events, service projects, who needs help this week.
- TAPs Thoughts and prayers. The circle closes in a Ball of Man, a huddle, or a knee.
Getting named: the rules
Your F3 name is given by the PAX, and it sticks. There are standards, because the name will be shared with your family, your friends, and your community:
- Respectful Family appropriate, always.
- Personal Connected to your story, your work, your interests.
- Thoughtful Encouraging for the struggling man, humbling for the gazelle.
Naming isn't about the namers. A bad name can keep a good man from coming back, and no man gets left behind over a joke.
TAPs: faith without pretense
F3 encourages men to accelerate their faith, and every man leads it his own way. Two closings you'll hear in Denver, both fully welcome:
- "I am a Christian, so I will be leading us in a Christian prayer."
- "I am not particularly religious, so I will lead us in a moment of silence."
Faith strengthens us. Brotherhood unites us. Purpose drives us. Every PAX learns to lead the close. It's leadership schooling in ten quiet seconds.
